he'll bump his shoulder back, though he looks around the tree with an amused look on his face at the memories]

Yeah. Much better now that we're not being sacrificed.

What about you?

[turbulency]

[ THEIR MEMORIES... He seems tired, but relatively okay. ]

Relieved and exhausted.

[ But still energetic enough to climb up onto one of the lower branches.

Holds a hand out. ]

[he waggles his eyebrows at Geto as he takes his hand]

Did you take me here to reenact our date...?

[turbulency]

Ah. [ Deadpan. ] You caught me.

[ Pulls him up! ]

We should both be happy with the relationships we have already.

[gets pulled up!!! and settles on the branch next to him, swinging his leggies]

Don't forget -- I was rooting for you guys since day one!

[turbulency]

[ Lavi is so cute.

He just smiles a moment before going quiet a second. ]

Are you still afraid of being human?

[ah. he turns his head to regard Geto, and then looks back out at the view,]

Kinda. Being a Bookman's still important to me. ...But I know that I can't deny what I am.

So I'm afraid, but it's not a bad kind of afraid... That's how I'd put it.

[turbulency]

[ He nods. And he gets it. If he had to change who he was to be a sorcerer... ]

I saw a future for myself, where I pretended not to be human so that I could go down the path that I thought would be the best for those like me.
