We noticed the door in the back wasn't locked. But we couldn't go any further than the bonfire, though.

Weird... Maybe the demons magicked the mess away before we woke up. They had to be up and about if the time to take pictures and beek about it.

I dunno... If someone wanted to hide their tracks, why would they wait to clean up after themselves? They did it, they're already there and everyone else is asleep. Just do it.
