he's surprisingly speedy for someone who likes napping at the library, and he's got strength -- but it's also clear that he's not like -- an expert with the weapon he's handling. he knows enough that he can wield it, but it'll come up short compared to an experienced swordsman.

Zelgadis is surprisingly agile for a guy made of stone. There's a smoothness and finesse to his moves that shows just how diligently he's practiced. And even though he could probably just take a few hits with no damage, he's careful to parry and evade as if he were as vulnerable as any human.]

He pulls a sword from a bin (most likely meant for a sword-swallowing act) and turns it over in his hand, giving it a long, critical look.]
