I know that one of my fellow touken danshi carries a curse, but not much more than that. [ sighs. ] If I did, maybe I'd be able to cut through it.

I've never met a tsukumogami of a book, but if I can exist, then I don't see why it couldn't, too.

It's a good theory, and there's no sign saying that it isn't. Is there a way to communicate with 'em when they're still in that form?

We'd likely need someone who has the power to sense spirits, like my master. I'm not sure if there's anyone like that here.

If there is, then they probably still can't do anything. Unless they make a wish to get that power back or however it works.

Not while their power has been stripped. It is inconvenient. But any wish would have to come after the ritual, wouldn't it?

…I don’t know. But I haven’t put that much thought into it, either. I don’t have any need for a wish.
