Ah, is that it? I just believe that drinking with friends is a good way of passing the time.

[Lavi has been watching Boothill from a distance like a fcking CREEP probably, but he doesn't make a move to approach. Instead, he'll turn to greet Iwatooshi instead, expression neutral.]

...You mentioned corruption before. You think that's what's happening with him?

anyway, iwatooshi answers with a shake of his head, though the grip on his weapon is still pretty tense. ]

It's possible, but not like the corruption I've seen. And if the overseers were right, this was due to the ritual their kind held earlier this week. It affected the monster in Hill-dono and overtook him. It isn't the same.

You shouldn't feel too bad, Lavi-dono. Much of what happens in this place is beyond what all of us know, and they did not warn us that further rituals may have effects like this.

Lavi, despite his survival instincts, doubles back long enough to yank Iwa by the shirt,]

We all make mistakes, Lavi-dono - even those of us tasked with ensuring that history remains on track. That's how we learn and grow.

They've all been taken care of, I think, so how are you doing?
