It's weird. [Like. It's not the first time he's been in pain and healing for several days (MILLENNIUM SWORDSMAN!!!), but it feels different? It's super weird to be almost as injured as he was two days ago. He is still so conflicted about being nerfed.]

Also I checked with the mods and apparently there's just a weirdly endless amount of spiders so they can kill these ones. I only rolled a dang 11 so I guess Kanda can get freed enough to slice off the legs of the nearest spider even as Lavi fuckin bodies him out of the way... HE DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS]
[Lavi straightens, taking a beat or two to listen and scan their surroundings again -- alert and tense -- and then he throws his arms out in the air once it's obvious that they KILLED ALL THE SPIDERS, bouncing over to throw his arms annoyingly around Kanda]
