[T_T DAAN... YOUR HAND..... But experiencing the hiking with Daan is just as good.]
Oh -- yeah, I talked to Alfyn about the stuff he got, and I asked War about it too. They said that it might be a spell component. They were more interested when I mentioned the room I found it in. Could be related to the cult.
Is it wise to be carrying them around as personal belongings when we know anyone can die?
[ He trusts Lavi is aware of the fact that bodies just... disappear after everything. ]
Though I hear that the overseers are keeping the bodies someplace else, I'm not sure if their belongings follow if we didn't take them during the trial ritual itself. Do you know?
I suggested to Mr. Matsuno about keeping them together someplace safe and communal instead, but he posited it may be counterintuitive in case the components react on their own, incomplete. Not that I think that's how it usually works, but I don't know anything about the rules of this particular dimension.
Only that Pesto knows where the bodies are. I can ask about belongings though. [but he listens to the rest, hmm...] I don't mind putting it in a single place for safekeeping... But not a chest, just in case we die before getting to open it.
So far, my plan was to just leave it in the room where I'm curfewing on Thursdays and let whoever else is there know. That way if I'm dead, they can drop by and pick it up.
We were... maybe lucky, to have comparatively less corpses this past week... but that could always be the outlier and not what we can expect from here forward.
Great. Good to know the weight of our lives are as light as a game you play, easing up when you realise you've been overzealous about the initial jump.

Lavi immediately perks up when he sees Daan, crossing the distance between them.]
No idea!
[Feels like it's been hours, but that's impossible, right? I was here yesterday! How could I get lost again!!]
I was goin' crazy without someone else to talk to! But now you're here!
no subject
You don't recognise any of the routes from being here yesterday...?
no subject
[hops on over to daan... lavi has now joined your party]
I do, but it's like they're taking me to a new place? I don't get it... I have a great sense of direction too!!
no subject
Like you haven't been able to control where you go? That does sound like it'd be consistent with the kinds of things this place does to you...
...
But you did get out eventually, right?

[It took way too long... I met a bunch of people and I still get lost... Oh, but I got to hold Robin's hand! That was nice.]
It just took a while. But I have faith in us!
no subject
Alright then. [ He's not going to hold Lavi's hand though... :(... ] Let's go.
[ They're experiencing the hiking... ]
...Have you spoken with others about the items you've received, namely the tongue in a box?
[ Why do you bring that to trial every single week Lavi. ]

[ All these body parts and then just a worm. OK. ]

Yeah! Alf said that he's keeping both of them with him, and that Pesto told him that they're spell components too.
Ash and I split ours between us. I asked War if they could take mine in case I kick it next, but they said to make plans with someone else.
[he peers at daan....]

[ Damn. They really are out here basically planning wills, of the occult variety. ]
What of the others, after you both?
no subject
Others? You mean whoever goes on the next Thursday trip?

[he senses het there but he hasn't asked]
As for Satoru -- I'll tell him to do the same as me.

I think that may be a wise idea...

Maybe it's like what the Masks mentioned -- that the cult's realized we're bleeding out too fast, and now they're letting up a little.
[They should have thought of that before. Idiots.]
