Oh, whenever a group gets pulled into one of those other worlds on Thursdays, on the way back, they get a box and a jar from this weird room in the fog that seem to contain... something's body parts, and some other weird creepy things that may or may not be related? Supposedly they're important, we're thinking maybe they're pieces of the god the cult is trying to summon...? For a ritual of some kind, at least.

Anyway. Since your possessions disappear when you die unless you officially entrust them to someone, and we don't know who's going to be alive tomorrow, we're trying to make sure they don't vanish if everyone who had a claim to them dies.
